* أنا مسرور أن أكون في الرياض وبشكل أساسي لزيارة الأصدقاء وتجديد صداقات قديمة، وكانت فرصة أن قرأت مسودة عمل الدكتور السلومي العلمي عن الجمعيات الخيرية الإسلامية، ولم أجده فقط مثيرا بل وجدته قطعة علمية، وغنيا بمتابعة المصادر الغربية إلى خاتمته، وأنتظر نشره في الولايات المتحدة أو بريطانيا، لأنه سيلقي أضوء مهمة على جوانب عديدة للموضوع وبخاصة في العالم الناطق بالإنجليزية.

* وسأقارن بأعمال أخرى ولكن عملك قد يكون العمل التأسيسي والأرضية للموضوع .. من يعلم؟

I am pleased to be here in Riyadh and most important to see friends renew our old friendships. About this opportunity to read Dr. Sallomy draft of this work on Islamic Charities. And I found to be not only very provocative but I find this scholarship, he traces preliminary western sources to his conclusions. I look forward t see this book published in the United States and Britain as I think. It is going to bring a lot alight to some very important subjects we have been discussed in U.S.A and English world.

Absolutely, I think there is no question that N.G.O. particularly the charity organizations, capable to humanitarians concerns governments are not addressing. The only N G O can do.
